1-1/2 to 2 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 envelope Fleischmann's® RapidRise Yeast
1-1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
Combine 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, undissolved yeast, orange peel and salt in a large bowl. Heat milk, water, honey, and butter until very warm (120o to 130oF). Gradually add to flour mixture. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in nuts and enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 3 equal pieces; form each into smooth ball. Place in greased 8-1/2 x 4-1/2-inch loaf pan. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Bake at 375oF for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. Cover with foil during last 10 minutes to prevent excess browning. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
